Hi, Damian, Andrew, George & Tony,

Thanks for all the help.

I've gone with Tony's idea first, (belkin card @ emporium, which says it
works with GNU/Linux/ubantu ok.)

Tony  has been using them  for a while, so  I'm  hoping it works for 
me.    I'll  let you know if its as good as advertised.
