Yes I seem to remember making this rash statement :-), I was hoping to
speak to the bookings person this morning but he wasn't around...I can get
somewhere in the town centre church (St Michaels) - which is easier to
find, but that would cost money - though as I'm now working for two
employers (one in computing)[1] I way be able to fund some of this..but it
would mean deciding on a date more than two weeks in advance ;-)s

BTW I see that http://sc.lug.org.uk/ no longer works (goes to the default
apache page), could that be rectified or point to Dave Briggs wiki or
something...
