So far so good, up to and including MS Office 2003. However as MS Office
2007 becomes more common I understand it will generate more and more
issues with OOo not being able to read its (closed) code, the famously
misnamed 'OpenXML'.

If this is the case it will make an interesting sticking point in years
to come.
