[sclug] setting boot parameter 'pci=noapci'

No, you boot into the first one by default, that what the line default 0 means

So the line you need to modify is

 kernel (hd0,5)/boot/vmlinuz root=/dev/hda6 vga=0x31a splash=silent desktop 
hdc=ide-scsi hdclun=0


just put it at the end.
