[sclug] Sun lobbies against EU software patents?

There's an article [1] on The Register about yesterday's
talk at the LinuxWorld conference by Simon Phipps, 'chief technology
evangelist at Sun'.

The last two paragraphs make for interesting reading. It says 'Phipps is
lobbying European politicians on behalf of Sun in opposition to the
introduction of US-style patent laws in Europe.'
