[sclug] Ubuntu/Mandriva grub issue

Thanks for everyone's help - I cracked it in the end.

What I need in the Mandriva grub menu.lst is

title  Ubuntu

kernel (hd0,2)/vmlinuz root=/dev/hda3 ro quiet splash

initrd (hd0,2)/boot/initrd.img


and hey presto. I've no idea why the original ubuntu version refers to 
/vmlinuz-2.6.10-5-386 and /boot/initrd.img-2.6.10-5-386 because I can't 
find them anywhere - but it used to boot nevertheless! Bizarre.

But all working sweetly now.
