OKaaay!

I found a way from the ALSA wiki:
	http://alsa.opensrc.org/index.php/Record_from_pcm

"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
record sound that is playing from another application use the 'Mix'
device as the capture device:

amixer set 'Mix' cap
...
Now you should be able to record what's currently playing through your
soundcard with:

arecord -t wav -f cd test.wav
"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
(Then I run the iPlayer in konqueror and ^C arecord when it's done.)

Get round that, Auntie's DRM-wonks ;-)

(Who's old^H^H^Hmature enough to remember when we used to hold the mic
of our reel-to-reel (or if we were flash, cassette) recorder up to the
speaker on the telly to record TOTP :-))
