Phillip Chandler phillip.chandler at ntlworld.com has refurbished and 
installed Linux on PCs and given them to a local school - if you've got 
whole machines spare please see if he wants them.

I'm hoping someone who replied to me off-list will come up with 
something, otherwise I might ask for the HDD
