You make it sound like LUG's are a cult, meant to force as many people to 
convert as we can.
Although there are some people who are like that, things like that do happen 
everywhere and I hate it when I see it. 
I do not push Linux on anyone. Anyone who knows me knows that I have nothing 
but the utmost distain for Micro$oft as a company and all their (so called) 
software. I will happily show anyone how to use Linux if asked (some have) 
and will help revert back to Window$ if Linux does not work for them. I do, 
usually, carry at least a Live CD/DVD whether it be Knoppix or a distro such 
as openSUSE or Kubuntu (as a personal preference, I do not like GNOME). I 
will only give the disc away if someone asks.
To me the biggest objective is to show people that there are alternatives to 
M$ software, especially Window$ and that the options are not as difficult as 
people may think.
