A windoze question if you can bear with me (sorry). Is there a windows equivalent of /etc/nsswitch.conf? How do I ensure that a hosts file is used before DNS? I'd ask a windows list but (1) I don't belong to one and (2) I don't want to associate with anyone who does. TIA, Michael
