Mozilla 1.3 new Bayesian spam filters are the business.  Nice FAQ on the 
  subject at http://www.paulgraham.com/spam.html.

I get about 300 spams a day (vs about 20 real emails).  My life is 
hugely improved by the Moz1.3 filters.  And it probably does the dishes 
too...
