I just checked online at blueyonder if cable modem was available at our p=
ost=20
code but it looks like it's just ADSL (Glasgow city centre).=20
Our company has a limited lifetime before "policy administration" is take=
n=20
over by a third party and the IT department will probably be made redunda=
nt=20
before that, so I have to make things as simple as possible. Although we =
run=20
an internal SMTP mail server, with force9, we can switch to pop3 accounts=
=20
if required without too much trouble. I guess we don't really need a 2 Mb=
/s=20
line but will save thousands a year by moving from the leased line so the
difference in price between a 512k, 1M and 2M line becomes insignificant.
