Hi folks

A friend wants to try Linux, and I want to convert him :) He has installe=
d=20
Mandrake 9.1 and is using the above modem, but it does not seem to be=20
working, he is living up in Aberdeen, so I can't "go round" and play :)

We installed the drivers, and tried the commands and it says it is connec=
ted,=20
but nothing happens, it pretty much freezes his system,=20

he is using Pipex as the ISP, has anyone here got the above modem working=
=20
under Linux? and can offer any suggestions?
