[Scottish] Wireless problem on Suse

Hello there all,
I've tried posting this on a SUSE group, but got no response.
Just wondering if anyone can help? Here are the specifics...

Running Suse 9.3 - getting quite pissed at Linux's tempromental
behaviour (definetely a love - hate relationship). 

The system boots and saying  its detected  WLAN0 -  but it 
can't find any configuration. 

This is  despite the fact that I've set the card  up correctly in YAST and its 
written a wireless USB config file in /etc/sysconfig/network

Any suggestions???
