[Scottish] ADSL connection gotchas?

Freedom 2 surf (http://www.f2s.com) provide a good deal on 8Mbit
uncapped for 27.99pcm

I used to use this provider when I lived down south and found them to be
very good.

I also managed to get a reasonable good router modem (Ethernet and USB),
complete with built-in bsd firewall for somewhere in the region of
£30.00
