Thank you for all the good, useful advice!  I much appreciate it.



I did use the GUI and not the "apt get" command to download (or not) the things I was trying to add from the Ubuntiverse-o-sphere...



I'll try being more mouse-attuned (and not languish in the mouse-averse) and also remember the commands I only *just* learned tonight (coincidentally - *D'oh!* Synchronicity!) to wit: "Ctrl + C" etc.
