Or you could try looking here: http://www.lug.org.uk/maillist.php and using 
one of the distributions on the those lists still maintained, or asking 
them to start a Ubuntu list, and subscribing to that list in addition to 
this one. The Slackware list for instance, whilst a UK list has subscribers 
from all over the planet, which gives you a wide spread of users.
