There is a talk on Monday being organised by The British Computer Society
that may be of interest to some folks:

"Mashing the Phone and the Web"

By Tim Stevens, Web21C SDK Evangelist at BT Design.

Over the last year BT has begun opening its global network to a broad
development community. In this talk we will see how telephony features
previously out of reach of small development teams due to cost and
complexity, can now be easily and securely integrated into any
application, often with as little as one line of code.

Monday 1st October 2007. Light buffet at 6PM, and 6.30PM start.

Location: British Telecom, Alexander Bain House, 15 York Street, Atlantic
Quay, Glasgow G2 8LA.

Registration is required and if interested send an e-mail to andrew.bcsg
(AT) googlemail.com.

For more info on BT's Web21C SDK visit http://web21c.bt.com/

Note: You don't need to be a BCS member to attend and there is no charge.
