Hey,
I push all my mail through procmail after its been through spamassassin just
to pre-sort it into nice folders for when my client connects (only really
seems like a useful idea for imap :)). I use the following entry
in .procmailrc for spamassassin stuff:
MAILDIR=/home/rob/mail
WHITE_SPAMBOX=Trash
:0
* ^X-Spam-Status: Yes
$WHITE_SPAMBOX
This automatically moves all my incoming mail which was marked as spam into my
Trash folder, so even if i happen to be using a crappy client which cant
filter on mail headers, it doesnt matter.
Instead of procmail, you could always just tell your client to filter on the
X-Spam-Status mail header, or you can have spamassassin alter the subject of
the incoming mail (i think).
