Most of the UK legal system is based on argueing about what is
"reasonable".

Yes, they have to do it in a reasonable time frame. Which to me I would
consider it reasonable to release it no more than a week after the MS
stuff comes out.

Bill Gates may consider it reasonable within 2 years.

Its a subjective wishywashy comment put there to keep us happy without
promising anything.

Ultimately, you have to ask, what is this DRM doing there in the first
place?
