can't remember the exact chip I used, seems the place I got mine from,
http://www.whitedog.co.uk/ is not selling mod chips anymore. Guess a good
bet could be ebay.

Performance wise, under mythTV, didn't seem to ever be a problem.  I'd
imagine that if you're just using it for file server then that'd take a lot
less overheads anyway.  Don't wuote me on this but I'm pretty sure the NIC
is only 10 not 10/100 though.
