If you're one of those people who does nothing much
more than e-mail, web browsing, writing letters etc,
then Linux is no harder to use than Windows IMHO. But,
if you're one of those folk who always wants to tweak,
fiddle, enhance, learn more stuff etc etc, then you
will struggle with doing it with Linux if you only
have a few hours to spare each week. Unless, that is,
you have a huge IQ. I, personally, am of average
intelligence and I can spend hours just trying to work
out how to a fancy search or something! 

That said, the latest version of Ubuntu (Feisty Fawn)
makes 3D restricted drivers much easier to install
than previous versions. Almost just a click of a box
(but hey, do really want to move to that?)
