Have downloaded scanModem from linmodems site plus the unloading
program, both are file type gz which Windows can't open and the related
Windows file types site doesn't seem to be much help.Any possible?
decompression programs do not seem to be gz specific and if part of a
suite of de/comression programs which are too long to download on
narrowband.

Any way, thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Regards,

Lauri
