Afraid i can't help out here in any meaningful way. Since windows died
on me and i started using linux the only time since then that i've
used any (old) version of windows is in a VM.
Sorry.

On another note re grub however, each time i try to make a live cd of
Ubuntu using uck (ubuntu customisation kit), i get an error message
every time re being unable to sort grub configuration due to having
stale nfs locks. I know this has nowt to do with dual booting grub
probs but it seems there may be a few other things needing ironed out
as far a grub is concerned so thought i'd mention it. Of course it
could most probably be just the fact i don't have my system configured
properly!!
