In general surfing last night I discovered that the Sharp Zaurus SL-5500 is
available at a special discount price from Sharp's online store - it's £150
off the RRP plus it has a whole bunch of extra's thrown in - total £299
including VAT.

This offer is open until the end of November.  

Why, you might be asking, are they doing this - it certainly doesn't say on
the site.  The answer is that a new model (SL-5600 with more RAM and a
faster processor) will be launched here in the next couple of weeks (it was
lanuched in the USA yesterday and has been out in Japan for a couple of
months).
