Last train to Georgia, er sorry, East Grinstead is about 23:15 :-(

You can get to Gatwick on trains all through the night.  From there it is a
short cab ride to East Grinstead (and fairly cheap if split).

East Grinstead also had bad rail links but the buses are OK and a short
drive to Three Bridges (where I work) gets you onto the right train line for
Horsham, Bognor, etc etc..
