[Sussex] Good tip for recovering from catastrophe

All,

Does Gentoo Linux recognise wireless NICs?  I can't get my zoomair or my 
belkin to work under RH7.1 having downloaded of pcmcia_cs and wlan-ng and 
compiled them.  I just keep getting a "unresolved suybol" error and it won't 
compile.

I'm downloading the latest version of Gentoo (seemed like a laugh...) and I'm 
gonna try it, but I'm not sure...
