Chaps,

I was going to post this yesterday, but I got to busy with a real bitch of a
bug.. anyhow, yesterday lunchtime in WHSmith I came across a new Linux
magazine. Now this magazine is not in itself going to be of interest to most
of this list - however it is significant - it's an absolute beginners
magazine (THere are numerous such title for Windows all called things like
"Using Windows XP"). The first issue seems to come in a box containing a
magazine and the free version of Mandrake 9.0 and Demo Linux.

I wonder if this magazine will be a success? Will it succesfully get people
to take the plunge into Linux? Will the area of the market is addressing
even know what Linux is?

All I know is, more than anything, this is a sign o' the times....
