[Sussex] game pad resource

Hey all

I just got myself an Xbox pad as they are USB compactable, just need to
chop the cable up.
Anyway I already have a driver for playing games under windows but have
a feeling I will need to play with it to get working under Linux. 

Any one got any good links or stuff I can start at, any thing from game
pad drivers to general USB peripheral drivers and setup?
