Seems the man who took on the civil service to argue that Tie wearing
was sexist has won his court case

I was wondering what happened to that case ?

What a amazing triumph for common sense. 

Speaking as a member of the non tie wearing community I wondered how
many of the more learned readers here can find the history of why we
wear ties and what their purpose was ?
