I believe the quesiton of IPCOP vs Smoothwall can be viewed as one of
people and personalities.

Post a Question on Smoothwall lists and prepare to be flamed.
Post a Question on IPCop list and prepare for quite a few useful
answers.

Heres a case where the products technical merits are not at issue but
instead the support and advice availble.
