Why is gnome better? RE: [Sussex] Promoting SLUG

Gavin,

If you're using GNOME on debian then you're a major release behind the
rest of the world AFAIK I know (correct me if I'm wrong) Woody still had
GNOME 1.4.  Most over distros now come with GNOME 2.6 which is like
comparing twm and enlightenment!   BTW the fish is _not_ there by
default and has not been there for a long time.
