Ah,

Firstly, you really should take the time to report the bug (or at least
check to see if it has already been reported).  You should be able to do
this using Bug Buddy (you'll find it on the menu, under "Programming ->
Bug Report Tool" on most GNOME installs, or type `bug-buddy` in a
terminal).

Secondly, why not move your evolution directory to evolution_old and try
running evo again - at least this way you'll know if the config files
are at fault before you start mucking about with them.

.. one of the more common causes of a seg-fault is that you've compiled
your code against a wrong library version, this is quite a regular
occurrence for those running bleeding-edge GNOME development installs.
