[Sussex] Online with Ubuntu

Hey all,

woes with ubuntu now.

decided it was time to install Ubuntu on my main AMD64 system so grabbed 
the CD and ploped it in the drive.
Firstly it would not resolve DHCP on install but a box next to it with 
exactly the same model/batch/make of NIC in works perfectly with ubuntu.

Thought ok I'll sort that out once its installed during install it 
crashed out on installing one of the applications saying kernel got 
scared, so it would seem that the AMD64 build isnt really ready to go 
with my system.
