[Sussex] Bloody Gnome problems

Angelo,

What distro?  What action have you taken recently?

Just an idea.. open a terminal:

$ pkill -9 gnome-panel
$ gnome-panel

... if the panels appear kill the term (which will also kill the panel) 
and you should find Gnome automatically restarts them.  Otherwise 
starting from a term should at least give you some error messages.
