To set up a DMZ you need a firewall with three network interfaces.

  1). Is the WAN network link (to your ISP),
  2). Is the DMZ network link, and
  3). Is the LAN (secure) network link.

The firewall takes care of routing and protecting the LAN and DMZ
from unwanted packets.
