[Sussex] Broadband and suse9.2

I left off ping detail on last post, to recap:-
No browser works in suse 9.2 on Broadband connection, fine on dial up modem
Email okay regardless
Broadband with madasafish.com who are with Broadband.com
router set to:-
mtu rate 1468
PPPoA   vpi/vci  0,38
router recognises linux

Win98se everything fine [although Brodaband drops off now and then]
