Just to add my thanks to Frances for her contribution last night.
I had not used the drawing part before but will be giving it more
thought in the future.
On a slightly different note, I would be prepared to give a short talk
at one of the moots on how I managed to get both my internal Winmodem
and USB Speedtouch 330 ADSL modem running under Linux if there is
sufficient interest among the LUG. Internal functions with SUSE 9.3 and
the Speedtouch with both Ubuntu and SUSE.
