Yes Des, I know they do in theory - its just I had a devil of a job when I 
was using Mandriva with the Sagem, like I say, I got it working a few times, 
and in some versions of Mandriva it worked better than others (as can be the 
case with Mandriva, sometimes the older versions worked better than the 
newer distros!)

I have a higher degree of confidence re the Speedtouch though.

I agree as well - the router/adsl modem is well worth the one off 
expenditure - you won't look back!
