Hi,

I don't know if this is turning into bragging rights or just telling  
people what languages they know, either way i might aswell chip in,  
I'm employed full time as a web developer with technoligies such as  
php, javascript, xml css xhtml html ajax mysql and so on for large  
companies.

but in the past i have dabled and worked with c/c++/c# (and starting  
to learn objective c) and would suggest that this is the best rout to  
follow if you wanted to develop software for anything to do with mining.
