[Sussex] wireless adaptor config for debian

Frank,
I am a Gentoo advocate, so what follows may not transpose directly into
the Debian way.
The wireless network management widget used by Ubuntu is called
"network-manager". Look for a package under the same name in the Debian
repositories (or depositories or suppositories or whatever they call
them under Debian). If you can find it it makes managing wireless
connections a cinch, and it should pull in all the dependencies as well.
If you can see the network adapter under ifconfig, then the hardware
side of it should be OK, and all you will need is something to manage
the wireless side.
Hope this helps.
Steve Williams.
