Yes, the talk is supposed to be next Thursday (26th).

But we have been woefully short of responses.

I would not blame Angus if he deferred his talk or even cancelled it -
I hope not, so come on all you techies and non techies alike - would
you like to come and hear what he has to say?

This is Angus's outline for the proposed talk:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Outline of Talk ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I guess "Openshift and cloud infrastructure built with open source
software" is a decent title. It feels a bit clunky, but not too bad,
I'll talk about how to get up and running with Openshift, both the free
hosted version and the version users can run entirely on their own hardware.
I'll also talk about OpenStack and Docker, and the major trends in cloud
infrastructure built with free software.
We look forward to a reasonable attendance. Perhaps you know people in
Open Source companies who would benefit from the talk and being able
to ask questions?
Or someone in a company that is thinking of converting a server over
to the cloud and running Linus on it? Give them a call and invite
them, then please post to the list or let me know.
Don't forget to tell your guests that the Holbrook Club charges £3 on
the door for non members, but our talk is free.
The brief venue details are below:
