[SWLUG] Introduction

I noticed a few other introductions in the archives (which I've tried to skim to get a feel for the list), and although it occurs to me that it's difficult to know if this is the "done thing" or not, given that all introductions come from list newbies, at least I won't be too much out of place if I introduce myself quickly.

I've just moved to Carmarthen - my wife's from there, whereas I'm English, and unaccountably proud of it. I've used Linux for a while - since 1.1.59, I think - and done various things with it, professionally and as something to keep me occupied.

I've a small son, my wife firmly believes I have too many computers (But I *need* those two Cisco 2500's, honest), and I'm curiously enough a director of a consultancy firm, which somehow makes a profit. I try to do a bit of programming from time to time, as well.

More can be found from my "personal web site" - http://www.google.com/search?q=dave%20cridland - should anyone care. (You don't have to.)

I am trying to learn Welsh, slowly, but my grasp of it is somewhat sketchy for now.

Anyways, I would have turned up to the last meet in Swansea, but that was on the same day I moved in. Hopefully make it to the next, in Cardiff.

I hereby promise not to criticise anyone else's grammar or spelling, and value other people's opinions, even when it does not match mine. (And is therefore, by inference, incorrect. ;-)

Dave.
