Being a DALnetter I'll point to bahamut, DALnet's ircd, which I use at home 
too. It's available at http://bahamut.dal.net/ 

Alternatively the ircd that openprojects.net uses can be found at 
http://www.openprojects.net/dancer_ircd.shtml

But, there are many available, those are just two that sprung to mind.
