[SWLUG] Free Driver petition

Humph. Nice idea. I signed it. But...
Will it work? I don't think so.
Who will read it? Other petitioners.
Will h/w manufacturers read it? I doubt it.
Will it change their policy of only developing drivers for the most popular
OS on the planet to wasting extra effort for developing drivers for
platforms which will bring not a penny to their coffers? I doubt it even
more.

Still. One can only hope.
