[SWLUG] Installation question

I haven't got anything in any config files because I can't start the installation. This is a new install.

What have you got in your XF86Config-4 (XFree86 server configuration file)? Is the above message telling you what you have got in there, or what you need in there?
Do your ordinary console screens (eg Ctl Alt F1) work?
