This may well be the case. I get the feeling that it is loosing time whist
switched off. I have just reset the time and as the machine will be on for
most of the rest of the day I will keep an eye on the time and see if it
looses time before I switch it off.
I don't think I have anything odd running on the machine at all. It is a
standard SUSE machine the only peripherals are a cable modem and a currently
unmounted CF card reader. My printer is currently unplugged as I am using one
of the sockets for my radio.
