[SWLUG] Introduce yourself

Hi everyone,

A quick introduction: I'm Joe Martel, 22, a Gentooist studying 
engineering at Swansea Institute.

Before joining the student flock, I was working as a developer in 
Guernsey, writing monolithic government systems in Java. As such, am a 
big fan of all things jakarta.apache.org... Have also done some C/C++, 
lots of XML/XSLT, and am currently messing around with python.

I'm dual booting Gentoo/winXP on my desktop, as some of the engineering 
bloatyapps don't (probly  won't) run in Wine. There's a mini-itx home 
network server somewhere as well, and a pair of _old skool_ PowerMacs, 
which will hopefully be a Mosix cluster of sorts when I can find enough 
parts to boot them.

When not computing, I'm out spinning on my bike (Yamaha YZF600). Oh, and 
studying, ofcourse ;)
