[SWLUG] OT: hardware question re:cpu purchase

thanks julian, but it seems you tried all the places i did! :)
except for ebay, for some reason i can't quite put my finger on i find the 
idea of buying a cpu from some unknown on ebay not a good idea, even though 
i've bought sundry components such as scsi cards etc. via there
