My brother's on Pipex (albeit in London).  However from what he told me 
yesterday they are bumping all their 512kb customers up to 1Mb for no 
extra cost and then giving them a choice of 2Mb with a 5Gb/month cap for 
no extra or 2mb uncapped for extra cost.

Same surname as me (obviously) and he's already been bumped up too :)
